March of the Mummies Prep

You may have seen in my stories that I have cancelled the proposed Halloween family event in as I have noticed that a lot of POSBL members are interested in attending the @pregnant_then_screwed March of the Mummies protests that are happening on the same date. I think this is an amazing event to shine a light on the absolutely astronomical cost of childcare at the minute, and how this effects working mums. Childcare costs are often cited as a huge cause of stress for a lot of people in this group and is one of the main reasons that I look after my little one full time and drag her round to all our meet ups! If you too would like to come and take part in the march then I thought it would be a fab opportunity to head to @leftbankleeds on Wednesday evening for their monthly Activism Fan Club creative takeover! We can have a chat over some drinks and make some sings and placards for Saturday
